I just came back from a lovely break at Vila pod Branou. I was looking for a relaxing quiet place for a short break and that’s exactly what I found.
Vila is located in a scenic, historic part of Poprad, tucked away from the noise of the city, yet only 15min walk from the town centre. It has a few nice restaurants and a café nearby as well as a church with a tower, which offers a nice view of the sourrounding area.
Vila is a small family hotel and that is how it felt: warm and homely. The staff were very helpful and attentive , and a special thank you to Adam for all your help and lots of useful practical travel tips!
My room was large, clean and well maintained.
Breakfast was huge and delicious!
Really enjoyed the mini spa (jacuzzi and sauna) after a whole day of
mountain hiking! I fell in love with the mountains when in Poprad, now I know where to stay if/when I’m back.
